Why Work With Dr. Wolf
Dr. Lauren Wolf brings nearly two decades of experience as a Doctor of Social Work and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with professional work across hospitals, rehabilitation settings, and outpatient medical clinics. Before founding A Calmer Journey, Dr. Wolf worked for Shirley Ryan AbilityLab for eight years. She also worked for the UI Health - University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, UChicago Medicine - AdventHealth Hinsdale, and in Central Illinois at Growing Strong and served St. Mary Hospital, Decatur Memorial Hospital, and Carle Foundation Hospital. Dr. Wolf has long served as the secretary of the nonprofit, International Social Work Exchange Partnership, and brings a multicultural and diverse lens to her work.
